Licensed for Commercial Refrigeration Work in California

California requires contractors performing commercial refrigeration work to hold a C-38 Refrigeration Contractor license issued by the Contractors State License Board. A C-38 license authorizes the holder to construct, install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and insulated refrigerated spaces.
